Frequently Asked Questions About RoboCup2004

  • What should I do in order to be a RoboCup2004 Volunteer? - Right now, you only have to send an email to secretariat@robocup2004.pt stating your interest to be a volunteer. The RoboCup2004 organization is preparing a written Volunteer Program describing the volunteers' responsabilities and tasks as well as what the organization will offer to volunteers, most likely only free access to the RoboCup2004 site and some special giveaway. The organization does not have budget to pay anything related with travel and/or accommodation. When available, we will send by email the Volunteer Program to everyone that previously stated her/his interest.
  • How do I (pre)-register myself or my team? - there are three main registration steps for those teams that wish to participate in RoboCup 2004: 1. declare your intention to participate until January 15, 2004 to your Technical Committee (TC) Chair, either using the pre-registration form in your league page of this official web page or contacting him/her directly; 2. submit your qualification material to the TC chair until March 1; 3. (for those teams who get qualified as of March 15) register using the web page interactive form from March 30 to May 15. Step 1 is intended to provide an estimate of the number of teams that will apply, while Step 2 and 3 are fundamental in order to be qualified and registered, respectively. Those who plan to attend the Symposium only can simply register following Step 3.
